After co-headlining the Squady Fest Tour with Famous Dex, and gearing up to release the DexterReggie EP, New Jersey artist Reggie Mills and LA rapper D Savage connected once again to create “Tech.”
The high energy track produced by Craig the Engineer ( who mixed Desiigner’s multi-platinum single “Panda”) managed to channel a similar tone in an effort to maximize the lyrical potential and overall quality of the single making for a definite radio ready track. “Me and Savage have been co headlining shows since 2015 in LA. This is the first time we both had a chance to get in the studio so we linked up in Times Square and ‘one taked’ every part of the song,” said Reggie.
Mills verse exposes his habits with women and substances while D Savage tied the track together with a smooth melodic hook. Using his verse to reminded listeners he’s actually from the streets, in case they forgot.
We can only hope this is the type of content is what Savage has been holding back for until D Phoenix’ arrival. Be sure to check out the track Below and let us know what you think!
