50 Cent teases new music

On Monday night, 50 Cent took to Instagram to preview his latest single “Still Think I’m Nothin” featuring Jeremih.

This debut comes just a few days shy of the rapper teasing the Gucci Mane assisted “On Something.” Could a 50 Cent album be forthcoming? Or could this simply be a reminder to all those who forgot that 50 Cent is still very much capable of dropping heat in the studio?

Though the new music may be a pleasant surprise, it’s no surprise that 50 Cent decided to team up with Jeremih for this single – as this wouldn’t be the first time the artists collaborated on a project. In 2010, 50 tapped the young Chicago artist to lend his vocals on “Down on Me” which went on to become a club banger and quickly garnered much success. The duo most recently collaborated on the Uncle Murda track “On and On” this past June.

As for “Still Think I’m Nothin,” the track for the haters. From the few seconds we were allowed to experience, it sounds like classic 50 is back and ready to take on any non-believers. Jeremih’s R&B crooning just makes this harsh medicine a tad bit easier to digest, though only access to the full track will tell.

If nothing else, hopefully, this is an indication that both artists have new music and new projects coming down the pipeline soon. With over 800k views in less than a day, it definitely seems like fans are engaged and ready for more.
