Tokyo Jetz just dropped her new video for the single “No Problem”. The video, shot by Philly Fly Boy is inspired by the iconic Angela Bassett film Waiting to Exhale. More specifically, the video is centered around the iconic scene where Bassett burns her husbands clothes in the driveway of their home. A strong inspiration lead to a strong concept in this video. In the lyrics to No Problem, produced by Drumm Section, Tokyo goes in on men explaining why she doesn’t want to deal with their problems. She states “Honestly all of my music comes from real life experiences that either myself or people in my direct circle have gone through,” Tokyo says. “I wrote the song ‘No Problem’ after I was in the stuido all day, and a dude I knew did some sh*t that had me f*cked up, lol. It was the last song I did of the night, on some venting sh*t. I never thought it would take off like this. The video I wanted to depict the same energy when you catch your man in a lie… like ‘waiting to exhale’.”
